We’ve had a great summer so far, though the rain has dampened our spirits just like everyone else’s.  The summer started out with the Maple Ski Ridge Music Festival.  The day before we jammed on-air on Schenectady’s public access channel with members of  Flood Road, The Ramblin’ Jug Stompers and The Bentwood Rockers.  It ended with a wonderful weekend at Old Songs and performing for the AERO Conference, opening for keynote speaker, Patch Adams.  Thanks to Kelly Taylor for this photo.

We have a lot of gigs coming up this month.  We are performing at The Roseboro tonight, Friday July 10th at 7:30 pm.  The Roseboro is an historic hotel that has recently reopened as a restaurant after extensive rehab.  We are very excited to be playing this new venue.  Saturday, after staying in a Bed & Breakfast, we race back to Delmar for the Delmar Farmer’s Market.  We’ve been hearing a lot of good things about this new market.  On Monday, July 13th, I will be playing a children’s show at the Delaware branch of the Albany Public Library from 2 - 3 pm.  Then the following weekend, we will play at a private event in Hannacroix, NY and both a children’s show and an all-ages show at Taste Budds in Redhook, NY.  We’re happy to be traveling around the region and look forward to more local and regional shows in the late summer and fall.  Look for me at the Activities 4 Kids area at Falcon Ridge Folk Festival July 23rd - 26th.  And…maybe we’ll run into each other at Champlain Valley Folk Festival the following weekend.

Don’t forget to listen to our CRUMBS Cafe half hour spot that was recorded in May.  Dick’s new tune, “Weeping River” is on there.  You can also listen to some of our other songs at CRUMBS.net, too.
